LERN SUPPORTS AMERICAN HEART MONTH

The human heart is often seen as a symbol of love, particularly during the month of February. As such, February has been designated as American Heart Month. This is the time to learn about your risks for heart disease and stroke and stay “heart healthy” for yourself and your loved ones.

In addition to learning more about how to have a healthy heart, the American Heart Association (AHA) will be raising awareness through the National Wear Red Day on Friday, February 5, 2016. Since the first National Wear Red Day in 2003, AHA has made tremendous strides in the fight against heart disease and stroke in women. For more information about National Wear Red Day, click here.
