Collecting and measuring specific quality measures provides the basis for evaluating and improving treatment of stroke patients. Primary, Thrombectomy Capable, and Comprehensive Stroke Centers have reporting requirements to The Joint Commission or other Board approved credentialing agency as a part of the credentialing and maintenance of certification processes. To this end, the LERN Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Data Collection Tool was developed.
