The American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma (COT), describes outreach and education is one of the important roles of a fully developed, statewide trauma system. Outreach and education efforts include professional education and injury prevention efforts.

LERN collaborates with its partners to offer a variety of professional trauma education courses to improve trauma outcomes and on injury prevention efforts to decrease the State’s mortality and morbidity rates.
